Pale gold in the glass. It has aromas of lemon meringue and passionfruit, lifted by citrus (orange, grapefruit), and melon notes. A textural wine – initially chalky, followed by a touch of leesy richness, cut by a zesty lemon/lime acidity. Richness gives way to zestiness, resulting in a long, pithy finish.
“Technically well-made and deliciously enjoyable. With plenty of ripe fruit, it works well as an easy-drinking sipper; match with picnic foods such as pork pies, chicken drumsticks and cold cuts.”
– Tom Lewis, The Cambridge Wine Blogger
“It shows a bit of reductive character at first, which then blows off to reveal light notes of lemon, pear, blossom and a touch of wild herbs. Refreshing, with just a hint of spritz to it.”
– Jacopo Mazzo, Imbimbe Magazine UK
“An extremely pleasant Chenin Blanc”
